When the cast was announced for Olivia Wilde’s upcoming film, “Don’t Worry, Darling,” film fans were incredibly excited. Wilde was originally set to feature Florence Pugh, Chris Pine, Dakota Johnson, and Shia LaBeouf in the new thriller. However, it appears that LaBeouf is out of the running and is set to be replaced by one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
According to Deadline, Harry Styles has been cast to replace Shia LaBeouf in Wilde’s thriller, “Don’t Worry, Darling.” LaBeouf is leaving the project due to a scheduling conflict. Details about the plot are unknown, but the film is said to take place in an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert. Katie Silberman, who scripted Wilde’s debut, “Booksmart,” is returning to work with the filmmaker on her latest feature, which is inspired by a spec script by Shane and Carey Van Dyke.
Wilde is expected to begin production on “Don’t Worry, Darling” sometime in the fall, with a 2021 release date being assumed.
